Chef Charisa

Chef Charisa is our Head Chef leading the exclusive Gourmet in a Pinch Team which initially opened in 2009 at the Bearhaven Crossing Mini Mall offering Gourmet Prepared Heat and Eat foods, Catering, Beer, Wine, and Personal Chef Service for all occasions. She graduated from Newbury Culinary School in Boston, Massachusettes in 1986 with an Associates Degree and a passion for making amazing culinary dishes come true. Chef Charisa is French trained with a strong influence in Italian Tuscan style. Her style hosts bold, clean and fresh flavors that adapts to satisfying even the most discriminating guests. Her many years of experience as a Line Cook, Sous Chef, Head Executive Chef, and Food Service Director is evident in her professional manner and cuisine.

The 1888 Wedding Barn Team is lead by Paul Legault, Property Manager and Wedding Event Planner.  Paul conducts initial customer contacts and wedding barn tours discussing the bride's and groom's wedding day vision identifying key success criteria. Paul's extensive background and experience working for Raytheon Corporation for 24 years in a multitude of disciplines makes him ideal to make wedding dreams come true.  His Six Sigma Blackbelt Tools, Techniques, and Processes makes him highly effective in planning a successful wedding celebration event. His risk mitigation and event planning strategy keeps every event on schedule resulting in a stress-free wedding event.

The collective efforts of the Gourmet in a Pinch Team coupled with the 1888 Barn Team helps make wedding dreams come true. They work together to provide seamless quality service from the first Greeting, Rehearsal Dinner, Wedding Reception, and Post Wedding Brunch event. Our staff takes pride in everything they do and it shows itself in an unforgettable wedding experience for you and your valued family, friends, and relatives.
